AAA QIP Logo

The Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Quality Improvement Programme (AAA QIP), with the inclusion of the Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) Audit, has been set up to achieve our aim to reduce elective mortality associated with aortic aneurysm surgery to 3.5% by 2013. The project is progressing well and we would encourage Members to view the AAAQIP website for any additional information and updates regarding the AAA QIP project. Regional Action Plans are in the process of being devised throughout the UK and these, along with data feeds, can also be found on the AAAQIP website.

You have the opportunity to raise and comment on current and/or important issues with other VSGBI members but also with additional people from outside of the Society including patients.
