The results for the review by VSGBI members of the Vascular Society Council’s attempt to drive up standards in the hope of improving outcomes from vascular intervention have been released. No vascular surgeon to whom I have spoken is comfortable about the UK having the tag of the worst results for aortic aneurysm surgery in Europe.
