The SVT are holding a new study day open to Clinical Vascular Scientists, Sonographers, Medical Physics Technicians, Vascular Surgeons, and Specialist Vascular Nurses.  This is the first day to look solely at the uses and new technologies associated with portable ultrasound machines, focused on vascular imaging. We hope to have the largest manufacturer exhibition of portable systems, and they will deliver some of the talks on their machine advances and capabilities. We aim to cover topics such as: Making a case for purchasing, appropriate protocols, AAA screening, TCD Screening for children with sickle cell disease, rapid access TIA clinics, Urgent A&E scans/fast-scans, Fistula surveillance, and Imaging for non-surgical vein therapies
