DESCRIPTION:The British Association of Sclerotherapists (BAS) announces a series of ‘bite-sized’ CPD webinars for sclerotherapy practitioners.  The next webinar is ​12th November 18:30: Post-sclerotherapy compression: Is there a best practice consensus and how compelling is the evidence?\n\nPassionate advocates of both sides of this hotly debated question present their views and invite participants to challenge their arguments and vote on the outcome. Speakers include vascular surgeons Miss Catharine McGuinness and Dr Torsten Willenberg (Bern, Switzerland).\n\n“We are excited to be moving our CPD events virtual for the time being,” says BAS Operations Manager, Hilary Furber. “The annual BAS conference each May has become the go-to CPD event for sclerotherapy practitioners, and this programme aims to fill the gap left by its enforced cancellation. A highly interactive format will blend live presentations, panel debates, video demonstrations and real time exchanges through chats and polls, allowing participants to question or challenge expert speakers and contribute their own views. Registering separately for each webinar means participants can pick and choose only those most relevant to their own practices.”\n\nThe webinars are aimed at those already practising foam or microsclerotherapy - phlebologists, vascular surgeons and nurses, aesthetic practitioners and dermatologists. 1 CPD point will be awarded for each webinar.\n\nThe non-profit British Association of Sclerotherapists is the only UK organisation dedicated to promoting sclerotherapy best practice and education.
