DESCRIPTION:The National Consultant Information Programme (NCIP) is a portal providing data-driven insights for consultant surgeons working in the NHS, to support improvements in surgical practice. \n\nDeveloped in partnership with the Vascular Society, the vascular surgical specialty dashboards in the NCIP Portal allows vascular surgeons to confidentially access their unit and individual outcomes data, enabling them to scrutinise and compare their performance with their peers. \n\nA total of 23 dashboards across 7 sub-specialties are now live in the tool, with a range of long-term metrics to support high quality outcomes.\n\nThis demonstration will discuss how the tool can support clinicians to improve clinical quality and patient safety, and also support with appraisal and re-validation, learning and development, leadership, tracking procedures, research and audit. \n\nTo register for the event look HERE\n\n
